Return & Refund Policy
Clear and transparent policies for returns, refunds, and materials.
At Artisan Hardwood Floors, we maintain strict return policies due to the custom and special-order nature of flooring materials.
General Policy
✔ All sales are final once materials are ordered or installation has begun.
Returns
✔ Returns must be approved in advance
✔ Returns are accepted within 30 days of material pick-up or delivery
✔ All approved returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee
✔ Customer is responsible for any applicable return shipping or handling costs
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return, refund, or exchange:
❌ Installed materials
❌ Special-order or custom materials
❌ Transitions (end caps, reducers, t-mold, stairnose, quarter round, etc.)
❌ Tile products
❌ Closeout or discontinued items (no warranties apply)
❌ Partial returns of special-order material under 250 sq. ft.
Condition of Returns
We do not accept returns of materials that are:
❌ Opened, damaged, wet, or altered
❌ Not in original packaging
❌ Not in resalable condition
Inspection Requirement
✔ All materials must be inspected for color, grade, and quality prior to installation.
✔ Installation constitutes acceptance of the product.
Deposits & Cancellations
✔ Deposits are non-refundable once materials are ordered or project scheduling has been confirmed.
Refund Method
✔ Refunds are issued by company check or original payment method, at our discretion, and will only be issued to the name listed on the invoice.
